Rusting nails, and failing soffits

In the picture bellow you can see the soffit is falling down. This is due to the fact that they were not nailed in with proper panel nails and not enough were used. So now they are failing out of place.

the soffits are still good they just need to be reinstalled and we would use finish screws instead of nails as these have a harder time at backing out. 

 These rusting nails are caused by water getting under the shingles and rusting out the nails. Eventually the nails will completely rust away leaving just a hole in the roof where the nails use to be at.
