    Proper steps on installing
    1. The first step is to remove the ridge cap shingles. 
    2. Then we cut the ridge on top of the roof and removed the particleboard.   
    3. We then placed the specially made ridge cap vent over the open space to allow airflow.
    4. Then we covered it with shingles.   This allows the attic to vent out hot air and reduce your cooling bill.
