- The first step is to remove the ridge cap shingles.
- Then we cut the ridge on top of the roof and removed the particleboard.
- We then placed the specially made ridge cap vent over the open space to allow airflow.
- Then we covered it with shingles. This allows the attic to vent out hot air and reduce your cooling bill.
