This is an old three-tab roof with lots of issues. This roof has had various leaks throughout. All the shingles around the house are short and not long enough to cover any of the gutters. There is water pouring in between the gutter and fascia boards. The ridge cap has missing shingles and shingles that are pulled up, causing leaks as well. There have been various attempts at repairs on this roof. There are mismatched shingles that have not been laid correctly. One area on the back was just “repaired” by laying down a sheet of ice and a water shield. This roof also has solar panels, so it will be necessary to coordinate with the installation company to reroof this house. The left side of the house has a small porch that will also need to be roofed.

The edge of this roof had a lousy repair done to it. All of the edges of the roof have shingles that are too short. This is causing water to leak in between the gutter and fascia. It also appears that there was an attempted repair at the edge with a sheet of ice and a water shield.
