Old Three Tab Roof In Need Of Replacement

The edge of this roof had a lousy repair done to it. All of the edges of the roof have shingles that are too short. This is causing water to leak in between the gutter and fascia. It also appears that there was an attempted repair at the edge with a sheet of ice and a water shield.

The ridge cap has various areas where the shingles are missing or pulling up, which may cause leaks. There have also been attempted repairs at the ridge cap with shingles that do not match and have not been laid down correctly.

This is a repair on the roof that was done with mismatched shingles. It looks like they laid down a brown shingle and then laid down the black shingles over it. This is not the correct way to shingle a roof.

The side of the house had a small porch built onto it and was not correctly roofed. We will offer to lay down OSB boards and shingle that area along with the roof.
